Pike Peak Dudhakunda trek extends through one of the least travelled trekking place in Nepal. The Dudhakunda Holy Lake is located to the East of the Kathmandu Valley, in the Everest region. The green landscapes in the lap of high hills mountains, the farms devoted to agriculture, the lifestyles of diverse ethnic groups such as the Rai, Tamang, Magar, Sherpa, Sunuwar, and Gurung are the  attractions of the Pike Peak Dudhakunda trail . Besides, Pike Peak trail offers to travelers the opportunity to observe the richness of its diverse flora and fauna.
Glacier Family Treks will extend your hike to the Dudhakunda sacred Lake which is one of the most important pilgrimage for Hindu people in this region. The Dudhakunda Holy Lake, located on the side of Mt. Numbur, is regarded as the home of Solukhumbu, the protective deity of the region. According to the legend, if someone visits Dudhakunda Lake,  a bath in its water will free from all the sins. Another belief says that if a couple cannot have children they have desired for a long time, they will have one  in a near future.
This trek starts with a 2-3 hour drive from Kathmandu to Jiri, continues through Goli village, Pike Danda,  Junbeshi to finally end at Phaplu. From there, one can fly back to Kathmandu.
