Popular Peak in Nepal

Yala peak (5500m) is another popular peak in Nepal, located in the Langtang region. It is a peak climbing often demanded by the adventurous travelers of Glacier Family Treks & Expedition, as this  climbing is combined with a trek in the Langtang region. Yala Peak is considered one of the easiest peak to climb and therefore climbers with even average fitness can make it to the summit. This also explains why the  Yala Peak has been frequently visited and is one of the most demanded peaks to climb. From the top of the Yala peak, awesome views of numerous mountains of the Langtang region are possible including the Lantang Ri (7205m), Poromg Ri (7285m), Lempo Gang (7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Gang Chenpo (6388m), Morimoto Peak (5951m), Naya Khanga (5846m), the mighty Shishapangma (8013m) and many more.

Yala Peak climbing starts as the Langtang Valley trekking begins from Syabrubensi and continues through traditional settlements of Tamang ethnic communities to finally bring the climbers to the  Yala peak base camp. The return trail will descend through the Gosainkunda Helambu trekking trail or will follow the same route taken to come up from Kathmandu.
