The Everest base camp-Chola pass trek -19 days
The Everest base camp trek via the Gokyo lake is a fabulous trek in the Gokyo valley. This trek that goes by the Ngojumba glacier, the source of Dudhkunda River, through the famous Chola Pass (5330m) to Kalapattar (5550m) view point, offering the the nicest views of the Gokyo-Ri (5360m), and leads the to the Everest base camp (5364m), is really a wonderful trip to the Everest. The trail traverses fabulous regions through one of the largest national park in Nepal, the Sagarmatha National Park. This park is protected for musk deer, for the Nepalese national bird and for other wildlife. Its amazing landscapes, with innumerable prayer flags in the land of Sherpas with their villages, stupas, chortens, and monasteries are enchanting. Besides, majestically heart beating and soaring mountains, including 4 summits of more than 8000m, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu and Mt. Cho-Yu render this trip really memorable.
This trek is graded difficult by Glacier Family Treks & Expedition because of its physically challenging trail through the Renjo or Chola passes. So, the itinerary can be customized on demand.
