Nepal Discovery Tour covers all heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley as well as sites outside the valley, like the site of Pokhara, of a Newari village like Bandipur, of Lumbini, the birth-land of the recent Buddha-Shakyamuni, a Jungle safari, a bird watching tour, a local village exploration and a walk in the Chitwan National Park in the Teraï region of Nepal.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel according to program.
Day 02: Visit of Kathmandu Durbar Square, walking through the ancient local bazaar and visit of the Narayanhiti Museum, the late Royal Palace, O/N in hotel.
Day 03: Visit of two buddhist shrines- Swayambhunath and Boudhanath, of the hindu cremation place of Pashupatinath. The three religious sites are protected by UNESCO, O/N in hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Changunarayan Madir, the oldest temple in Pagoda style. Drive to Bhaktapur Darbar Square, visit of an ancient Palace of Malla dynasty.
Day 05: Visit of two ancient Newari villages- Bugmati and Khokana. Visit of Patan Durbar Square, transfer to hotel.
Day 06: Drive to Bandipur, one of the Newari village outside of the Kathmadu Valley, sunset at Bandipur.
Day 07: Drive to Pokhara, the most beautiful city and the most popular touristic area, check in hotel. Boating in Fewa Taal, walk on the Fewa Lakeside, back to hotel.
Day 08: Visit to Guptewor Gufa (Cave), David’sfall, Tibetan Refugee Camp and World Peace Pagoda Temple, back to hotel.
Day 09: Hike to Sarangkot Danda to see the sunrise. Drive hill down to Bindabasimi hindu temple, K I Singh bridge. Visit of the old Pokhara with Pokhara regional museum. Back to Pokhara new district, O/N in hotel.
Day 10: Drive to Tansen, visit of the 19th century BC Khadga Palace, O/N in hotel.
Day 11: Sighseeing of Tansen city: Amarnath Temple, Khadga Palace, typical Karuwa fabrication and Palpali Dhaka factory, O/N in hotel.
Day 12: Drive to Lumbini, the birth place of Shakyamuni Buddha. Transfer to hotel.
Day 13: Visit to Maya Devi Mandir, Lumbini Royal bath, Golden temple, etc. Back to hotel.
Day 14: Drive to Chitwan National Park, protected by UNESCO for nature and for the one-horn rhino. O/N in hotel.
Day 15: Bird-watching trip in Chitwan. Walk to Tharu village and Tharu village cultural show in the evening.
Day 16: Early morning elephant ridding, canoeing etc, O/N in hotel.
Day 17: Drive to Nagarkot, the famous view point nearby Kathmandu for sunset, sunrise and mountain view.
Day 18: Drive back to Kathmandu, free day for personal activities, farewell dinner in authentic Nepali kitchen restaurant.
Day 19: Final departure from Kathmandu for your further destination.
