Dilu Rai, the trek and tour operator of Glacier Family Treks & Expedition P. Ltd, is born in the Everest region, the Solukhumbu province, a hilly-mountain region of Nepal. He has led many successful trekkings in Nepal, with experienced mountain dwellers, with regular city trekkers, with aged people, with families with children as well as with mentally or physically handicapped people in different parts of Nepal, such as the Everest region, the Annapurna region, the Langtang region, the Manaslu region, the Kanchenjunga region, the Tsum Valley, the Upper Mustang and the Lower Dolpo as well.
He has started working in trekking and touring in Nepal since 1996 from the grass root level to that of company leading level after the creation of Glacier Family Treks & Expeditions. To value his great competence so to meet the goal of his agency, he has good knowledge in French, Japanese and English languages.
Uddhe Man Rai- Trekking Guide (Japanese-English Speaking)
Uddhe Man Rai is a permanent inhabitant of the Everest region, at Taksindu -1, Solukhumbu district. He has been working as a Japanese and English spoken trekking guide with Glacier Family Treks & Expedition since the completion in 2008 of his trekking guide training at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), on behalf of the government of Nepal Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabi Bhawan Kathmandu Nepal. He has moreover achieved a bachelor degree in Humanities and Social Science at the Tribhuvan University.
He is a loyal, helpful, sociable and well experienced trekking guide, capable of working under high pressure as well as of making decision in sensible cases. He has led many trekking groups in all the main regions of Nepal, three pass trails (Renjo, Chola Pass and Khongma Passes) , all the Annapurna region trekking trails including the newly opened Khopra Mohare hill Trekking and the Tilicho Lake trekking. Besides, he has done several times the less popular but most beautiful trekking in the West part of Nepal, such as the Rara Lake trekking, the Upper Dolpo and Lower Dolpo trekkings, as well as the Mugu region Trekking.
